Why do horse-riding jockeys wear pantyhose/tights under their breeches (pants)? When did this tradition start? - horse riding wear

I heard about it. In fact, William Shatner has said he personally used to say when a horse shafing prevent. I do not know where the tradition began, but I think the taboo that surrounds most of the drivers, people who are very, very secret.

Dick Francis, the former champion jockey letters hurdles with which the secret has addressed this issue in one of his books.

Well, I do not know if it's a tradition, or if the idea was first introduced, but I know it weighs almost nothing, keep the cold air and prevent friction.
